On Gurupoornima go to Dattatreya or Sai Baba or Raghavendra swamy temple after taking headbath and donate good books like Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi, to people at the temple.
Chant Siddhamangala Stotram either children or parents.
Donate new clothes, fruits or coconut water to teachers.
